About Sky West
Sky West is hiring immediately for an AOG/Expediting Coordinator. This role is a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking position that requires critical thinking and offers a rewarding opportunity to learn many different facets of the Sky West operation.

Starting pay $15.50 per hour (night shift will receive a $1 override) with a 7‑on/7‑off rotation. Day shifts operate Friday through Thursday from 5:15 AM to 4:15 PM and 11‑hour shifts are required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain systemwide coverage on parts needed for AOG aircraft and low‑time MEL aircraft.
- Coordinate with maintenance stations to ship parts between locations for AOG and low‑time MEL aircraft.
- Handle logistics for the movement of materials required for AOG/MEL needs.
- Authorize borrowing or purchasing parts from other airlines as needed.
- Authorize direct purchases from OEMs and vendors as necessary.
- Approve loans and accommodation sales to other airlines.
- Expedite repaired and purchased parts for general and urgent aircraft maintenance.
- Evaluate parts usage and distribute parts orders to nationwide bases for aircraft maintenance.
- Compile reports regarding repair priority, AOG status, backorders, and related metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure proper paperwork compliance for purchases with drop shipments and maintain receipt traceability.
- Collaborate with MCC, MX Hangar, and SMOD to source aircraft in storage or C‑Check for AOG requirements when open orders cannot be expedited in a timely manner.
- Review open MELs to ensure inventory at site to clear discrepancies for aircraft routed to maintenance.
- Work with vendors to expedite open orders for items deemed critical stock.
- Assist other airlines with their AOG needs when it will not impact Sky West operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
- Self‑motivated with proactive identification and prevention of potential operational disruptions due to lack of parts.
- Proficient in PC and Windows applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- This is an on‑site position; remote work is not available. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to St. George, UT.
- Must tolerate moderate noise from office equipment and light traffic within a group setting.
- Requires prolonged sitting while working in front of a computer and on the phone.
- Position is not a Department of Transportation safety‑sensitive role.
