As a gas attendant for Wilcox and Flegel, you are at the forefront of customer service. You greet customers with a friendly smile, process their purchases, race pumps, and keep the station clean and safe, ensuring repeat business and a positive brand impression.

• Process cash and debit/credit card purchases using our POS system.
• Provide customers with change and a receipt.
• Initiate fuel pump upon payment.
• Keep property clear of garbage and mess (exterior, gas pumps, etc.).
• Fill gas tanks upon request (dependent on state laws).
• Answer questions and provide directions if needed.
• Add oil to vehicles on request and purchased on site.
• Dispense propane.
• Operate car washes (if applicable).
• Prepare daily fuel and oil reports.
• Monitor catch basin sumps and fuel tanks as needed.
• Maintain fuel spill kits and reorder as needed.
• Wash windshields and check fluid levels and air pressure in tires.
• Clean gas station bathrooms.
• Count money in cash drawers.
• Call police to report suspicious activity.
• Perform other assigned duties.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skill.
• Able to assess competing demands and determine appropriate direction.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment; agile, flexible and resilient.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Some job experience preferred.

• Point of Sale system preferred.

• Dust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elements.
• Exposure to moving machinery.

• Typically standing or walking.
• Typically bending, crouching, stooping.
• Occasional lifting (40 lbs.).
