Position: 1455: FILE MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Overview

Position: File Management Officer

Under the direction of the Information Systems Manager, the File Management Officer acts as a resource for employees regarding client files. The File Management Officer provides primary assistance to the File Manager and Information Systems Manager in the day-to-day maintenance of a centralized client file system for the Agency.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize centralized client file systems in alignment with agency procedures.
  • Provide primary assistance to the File Manager and Information Systems Manager in daily file management tasks.
  • Assist with document handling, records maintenance, and related data management activities.
Qualifications
  • A minimum two-year Health Records Technician Diploma is required. B.A. is preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience, preferably in a non-profit organization in the social services field.
  • Experience in administration, file or data management; social service client-related services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Information Systems Manager in relation to service requirements.
  • Must have a valid Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a reliable, personal vehicle.
  • Must have $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.
  • Must complete a criminal records check.
Compensation and Schedule
  • Salary Range: $25.28 to $29.31
  • Wage: $25.28 to $29.31
