Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

As such, iSpire handles everyday ticketing and special projects planning & execution for their customers, and in some cases act in a similar role to that of a CIO. Other lines of business for iSpire include Video Surveillance Systems, VoIP Phone Systems, Cloud Hosting Options, and Custom Application Development.

JobOverview – Full-Time in Office
The Finance Manager – Accountant oversees all aspects of financial accounting, payroll, and reporting for iSpire. This role ensures accuracy across systems including Quick Books Online (QBOA) and Autotask, supports operational leaders with financial insight, and maintains compliance with CRA, HST, and GAAP standards. The successful candidate will balance day-to-day accounting functions with strategic financial oversight, helping iSpire maintain sound fiscal performance and informed decision-making.
Requirements- Completion of a minimum 2-year Accounting program and/or equivalent accounting experience.
- Experience in payroll processing and tax remittances.
- Proficiency with Quick Books/QBOA and working knowledge of other accounting software.
- Understanding of GAAP principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Oversee accounting activities and ensure timely processing of monthly recurring billings via Autotask ticket system.
- Input and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and purchase orders in QBOA.
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Project Leads to verify accurate client billing.
- Prepare and reconcile bank and Visa accounts; complete deposits as needed.
- Produce preliminary financial statements and review balance sheet/income statement trends.
- Administer weekly payroll and ensure timely CRA remittances.
- Prepare annual T4 and T5 filings.
- File quarterly HST reports and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop financial and KPI reports for senior management.
- Maintain AR collection reports and monitor collection targets.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and assist in budget tracking and variance review.
- Train support staff as required.
- Collaborate with the CFO and CEO on financial performance and planning.
- Support continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes.
Salary: $45,000 – $65,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits:
