Our client is one of Canada's leading professional services firms who provide audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services to Canadian and international companies through their exceptional team of Accounting professionals.

There are currently exciting and progressive opportunities within the Canadian Corporate Tax Department for Managers and Senior Managers. These positions focus on industries ranging from financial services to manufacturing. Regarding the Financial Service positions, preference will be given to those with experience in any of the following areas: private equity, asset management, insurance, or banking.

As a Manager in the downtown Toronto office, you will play a key role coordinating teams to provide excellent consultative solutions to our clients. Key to your success will be building and maintaining client relationships and developing an understanding of client needs. Additionally, you will identify and develop new opportunities for additional tax services and develop innovative revenue producing products.

Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager in the downtown Toronto office, you will use your proficiency in taxation to provide expertise to and assist domestic and international corporate clients. You will lead fieldwork engagements, manage staff and liaise with senior management of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively take tax ideas to our clients that are relevant to them through the use of our Client Service Matrix program
  • Plan, organize and execute engagements including structuring corporate investment, developing acquisition strategies and tax compliance.
  • Build a relationship as a "trusted business advisor" by providing valued tax advice (applying business, economic, and market knowledge and an understanding of the legal and regulatory impact).
  • Actively mentor and counsel tax professionals and seek opportunities to provide constructive feedback to support their development.
