We are currently seeking a Senior Recruiter
, based in Saint John, NB
, to lead full-cycle recruitment and strengthen talent acquisition strategies across our organization.
As a Senior Recruiter, you will:
Own full-cycle recruitment across four companies, ensuring an effective, consistent, and engaging candidate experience from intake through offer acceptanceSupport high-volume recruitment needs while also leading more specialized senior technical recruitment for and other business requirementsPartner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, prioritize requisitions, and recommend practical recruitment strategiesProactively source, assess, and engage qualified candidates using multiple channels, including direct sourcing, referrals, job boards, social media, networking, and community partnershipsDevelop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across technical, skilled trades, operational, professional, and leadership rolesBuild and maintain relationships with schools, training institutions, career centres, newcomer associations, and community partners to strengthen access to talentRepresent the organization at career fairs, school events, newcomer employment events, and other recruitment outreach opportunitiesProvide guidance to hiring managers on interview planning, candidate assessment, selection practices, compensation considerations, and offer recommendationsTrack recruitment activity, pipeline health, hiring timelines, sourcing effectiveness, and market trends to support regular recruitment reporting and decision-makingChampion accurate and consistent use of the applicant tracking system to support data integrity, compliance, reporting, and recruitment process improvementSupport employer brand initiatives by developing recruitment outreach materials and promoting the organization as an employer of choiceRequired Competencies:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience5 to 8 years of progressive experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or workforce hiring, preferably in a fast-paced or multi-site environmentDemonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of role types, including skilled trades, technical, operational, professional, and leadership positionsStrong sourcing capability and experience using applicant tracking systems, Linked In, Indeed, job boards, social media, and other recruitment platformsExperience advising hiring managers on recruitment strategy, candidate assessment, interview processes, and offer recommendationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsComfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving recruitment tools, systems, and processes
