Location:

Saint John area (Horizon).

Employment Type:

Permanent Full Time. Classification:
Management and Non-Bargaining.

Schedule:

Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation. Language Requirement:
English.

Salary: $53,742 to $75,114 per year (Pay Band 3, 37.5 hours per week).

Who you are

You have worked in a leadership role for a minimum of 3-5 years, with management experience in a healthcare facility or large institutional setting. You have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • A university degree in business or a related field, or a Management Diploma from a recognized post secondary institution.
  • Three years of related experience in a unionized environment.
  • Ability to attend work regularly.
  • Competence in written and spoken English.
What you will do

Managing the daily operations for housekeeping services, waste management, recycling, and porter services.

  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are adhered to.
  • Implementing and overseeing the quality monitoring program.
  • Overseeing the assignment and supervision of staff, including direct supervision.
  • Coordinating maintenance of equipment.
  • Participating in recruitment, selection and performance review processes.
  • Overseeing training and professional development of staff.
  • Recording and maintaining operational and personnel records.
