Linehaul​/Shuttle Driver

Role:

This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety and food safety protocols.

• Transport goods from warehouse to customer, load/unload per specifications.
• Complete required paperwork, including logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and promptly.
• Maintain proper temperatures and adhere to food safety standards during delivery.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and operate equipment properly.
• Develop courteous relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
• Report route deviations, trailer issues, or customer concerns to management.
• Work flexible schedules, including overnight trips, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices.
• Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and delivering under various conditions.
• Ability to operate large vehicles, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently.

• Regularly sit, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or push/pull heavier loads with equipment.
• Climb in/out of vehicles, withstand various weather conditions, and work in confined or noisy environments.
• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and occasional high places; work may involve overtime, weekends, and holidays.
