Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, working knowledge of electrical systems and coding is a plus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex, cross-functional problems and contributing to innovative product development.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems from concept through production
* Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
* Perform analysis including stress, and tolerance stack-ups
* Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and components
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design, performance, and manufacturability
* Assist in developing automated systems, test setups, or embedded solutions where applicable
* Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
* Strong proficiency in CAD software
* Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Solid Works for 3D modeling, analysis and drawing creation
* Experience in product development or NPI environments
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems (sensors, motors, wiring, controls)
* Basic Knowledge of programming language (e.g., Python, C++, or similar)
* Exposure to FEA or simulation tools
* Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
