Die Casting Specialist

** Direct Hire - Die Casting Specialist - St. Joseph County, MI*
* We're working with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Tooling Designer to support the development and improvement of complex production tooling systems in a highly collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Designing tooling concepts from customer specifications and engineering requirements

+ Creating detailed 3D models and associated drawings using CAD software

+ Supporting tooling improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality

+ Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers to solve tooling challenges

+ Managing documentation, engineering standards, and project priorities

Ideal candidates will have:

+ 5+ years of tooling, mold, or die design experience

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling functionality

+ CAD modeling and drafting experience

+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently while supporting team initiatives
