Position Summary:CAD Designer I will support multiple R&D departments providing virtual parts & assemblies, prints, process sheets, and illustrations in a professional office environment. Being a CAD Designer I, work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
Position Responsibilities:- Assist Engineers in designs, and technical drawings of parts, and assemblies
- Assist Engineers with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Develop and maintain engineering drawing standards
- Provide technical verification of advertisements, manuals, and literature as required
- Knowledge of industry recognized 3D CAD system (Solid Works preferred)
- Good written, verbal, listening, and computer skills
- Operational proficiency in Engineering CAD system
- Practical problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
Certifications:
- Associates degree in a drafting related field or related work experience
