Physician Assistant​/Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care - St Joseph, MI

Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new Urgent Care Clinic in St. Joseph. The clinic operates 3‑day work weeks with 12‑hour shifts ranging from Sunday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Providers typically see 30–40 acute visits per shift. No on‑call is required. Fluency in dictation with Abridge, an Ambient AI‑assisted program, and experience with EPIC EHR is required.

• Document patient visits and produce after‑visit summaries in Epic EHR.

• Master's Degree MSN‑Nurse Practitioner. Required.
• Preferred Doctorate.
• 1 year of relevant current clinical experience as nurse practitioner. Preferred.
• LIC‑Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan upon hire required.
• LIC‑Nurse Practitioner (NP) – State of Michigan upon hire required, or
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies – Required.
• LIC‑Physician Assistant (PA) – State of Michigan upon hire required.
• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 90 days required.
• CRT‑Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association. Upon hire preferred.
• CRT‑Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association. Upon hire preferred.
