Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new Urgent Care Clinic in St. Joseph. The clinic operates 3‑day work weeks with 12‑hour shifts ranging from Sunday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Providers typically see 30–40 acute visits per shift. No on‑call is required. Fluency in dictation with Abridge, an Ambient AI‑assisted program, and experience with EPIC EHR is required.

- See 30–40 acute visits per 12‑hour shift.
- Use Abridge for real‑time dictation and note creation.
- Document patient visits and produce after‑visit summaries in Epic EHR.
- Master's Degree MSN‑Nurse Practitioner. Required.
- Preferred Doctorate.
- 1 year of relevant current clinical experience as nurse practitioner. Preferred.
- LIC‑Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan upon hire required.
- LIC‑Nurse Practitioner (NP) – State of Michigan upon hire required, or
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies – Required.
- LIC‑Physician Assistant (PA) – State of Michigan upon hire required.
- CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 90 days required.
- CRT‑Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association. Upon hire preferred.
- CRT‑Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association. Upon hire preferred.
