Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full time Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth within the territory, and providing hands‑on tooling and application support.
A typical day could include on-site visits to customers, providing hands‑on support, building and strengthening relationships, and managing quotes and follow‑ups. We are looking for a motivated, growth-oriented professional who enjoys building strong customer partnerships, solving problems, and contributing to the long-term success of both our customers and our company.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management – Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business.
Tooling & Application Support – Serve as the main point of contact and visit customer locations to provide guidance and recommendations on cutting tools, abrasives, and MRO products.
Sales Growth – Promote product and service offerings to maximize sales revenue and grow customer accounts.
VMI Support – Promote and support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs by identifying opportunities, educating prospects, assisting with implementation, and monitoring program performance alongside VMI team members.
Order & Quote Management – Prepare and follow up on quotes, coordinate orders with inside sales and operations teams.
High Quality Customer Service – Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and product performance in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration – Work closely with inside sales, purchasing, suppliers, and warehouse teams to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications- At least 3+ years of industrial/machining or sales experience (Cutting tool or metalworking industry knowledge strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- High level communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable using basic CRM/ERP software.
- Passionate about personal growth and long-term success within the business.
- Competitive base salary plus commission ( due to the nature of a sales position the total annual compensation can vary).

Our office is located in Saint Joseph, Michigan but travel is expected to meet the needs of our customers in the Southwest region of the state and Northern Indiana.
