Del Helper

Tamarack Materials, a GMS company, seeks a Del Helper to support delivery of drywall, steel framing, insulation, and acoustical products to commercial and residential jobsites. In this entry-level, hourly role, you'll assist drivers with loading, unloading, and stocking materials by hand and with basic material-handling equipment. You'll follow strict safety procedures, wear required PPE, and represent Tamarack with respectful, reliable service.

This is a physically demanding, on-site position with training, advancement opportunities, and exposure to construction supply and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with safe loading and unloading of drywall, steel, insulation, and ceilings
• Manually handle, carry, and stage building materials on jobsites and in warehouse
• Use basic material handling equipment under supervision
• Secure loads and help perform pre- and post-trip load checks
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Provide respectful, timely service to contractors and site personnel
• Help maintain clean, organized trucks, yards, and stock areas
• Support inventory counts and basic paperwork as directed by driver or lead
