Collections Specialist (Hybrid)

Job Finders Employment Services is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity. This hybrid position is ideal for someone with Accounts Receivable experience who enjoys problem-solving, customer communication, and working both independently and as part of a team.

• $20.00 per hour
• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  Schedule:
  
  Work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.
• Location: Central Missouri

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and prioritize collection activities.
• Review outstanding receivables, identify account issues, and help develop solutions.
• Communicate with customers regarding past-due balances and payment arrangements.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, chargebacks, and other account concerns.
• Perform account reconciliations, process credit holds and releases, and assist with bad debt recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and provide regular progress updates.

• At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience

• Previous collections or credit experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required, with relevant experience.
