Practical Nursing Instructor — Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, Days, On‑Site
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start in July 2026 within the Practical Nursing Technology program. This is a full‑time, 9‑month annual contract, exempt, and benefit‑eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications
:
Current undisciplined license to practice professional nursing within the state of Missouri with a minimum of five years of experience in the nursing field; a bachelor’s degree in nursing with a clinical component; excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Teaching/training experience and five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: medical‑surgical nursing and nursing care of children.
Job Responsibilities
:
Instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: nursing fundamentals, nutrition, medical‑surgical nursing and nursing care of children. Student advising is also a key responsibility.
