Program Support Specialist-Early Childhood

Do you have a passion for supporting young children and the professionals who care for them? We are seeking a dedicated Program Support Specialist – Early Childhood to provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities for early childhood educators throughout Northwest Missouri.

As a Program Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in strengthening the quality of care and education provided to children from birth to age 5 by equipping childcare professionals with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed.

• Deliver training and professional development to early childhood educators, including preschool teachers, daycare providers, and childcare professionals
• Ensure all training programs align with Missouri's early childhood priorities and best practices
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to training activities and program requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance early childhood education across the region

• Education & Experience Requirements: Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, Child Development, Social Work, or a closely related field and at least 2 years of experience working with children birth to age 5
• OR Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and at least 3 years of experience working with children birth to age 5

• Experience providing training, coaching, or professional development
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices
• Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to build positive relationships with childcare professionals

This position requires travel throughout the Northwest Missouri region, including Andrew, Atchison, Bates, Buchanan, Cass, Clay, Clinton, DeKalb, Gentry, Holt, Jackson, Nodaway, Platte, Vernon, and Worth Counties.
