The Southern Boone County R-I School District is seeking qualified applicants for a Kindergarten Instructional Aide position for the
school year at our Primary School.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong student-centered philosophy and the ability to support a diverse group of learners with varying needs. The ideal applicant will exhibit strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children. Experience supporting literacy and math instruction is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:- At least 60 hours of college credit Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
- Commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or two years of postsecondary education preferred.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work with different people and diverse student populations.
