QualificationsRequired:
Must hold a Bachelor's Degree with a valid Missouri teaching certificate. Must be certified in Special Reading (Remedial).
Preferred:
Five years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Terms of Employment: 9 months
Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor Approval
PurposeTo help provide kindreading instruction and learning environment that will enable each student in the district to master the reading skills appropriate to age, grade level and individual capacity.
Essential Job Functions- Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- To telework when requested by the District.
- Plan and administer the special reading program.
- Interpret student needs and progress in reading to the classroom teacher and parents.
- Confer with parents concerning individual students experiencing special reading problems or those required special remedial help. Meet with any parents requesting such conference.
- Maintain the documentation necessary to comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Other assigned duties.
