- Lead environmental compliance and permitting efforts across operations in Michigan
- Serve as the primary internal resource for Michigan Water Resources Permits (Part 301)
- Support environmental programs related to air, land, and water compliance
- Partner with operations, engineering, regulatory agencies, and consultants
- Ensure compliance
- Manage environmental reporting
- Oversee permitting activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of environmental experience in heavy industry, mining, or similar operations
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements
- Experience with Michigan wetlands permitting (Part 303), wetland delineation, or mitigation banking is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
Demonstrates expertise in environmental compliance and permitting, particularly in Michigan Water Resources Permits and wetlands permitting. Strong ability to manage environmental reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives in heavy industry operations.
