SAP S HANA Upgrade Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Upgrade Project Manager to lead a major SAP upgrade initiative to the latest S/4

HANA release (2025 target). The successful consultant will oversee full project delivery, governance, testing, cutover, stakeholder management, and post-upgrade stabilization within a regulated enterprise environment.

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4
  
  HANA upgrade delivery
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and governance activities
• Coordinate all upgrade phases including sandbox, development, QA, testing, and production cutover
• Drive integrated testing, business readiness, change management, and stabilization
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders including business, SAP teams, BASIS, vendors, and leadership
• Provide executive reporting and risk mitigation throughout project lifecycle
• Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and internal governance standards

• 10+ years of SAP Project Management experience
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4
  
  HANA upgrade projects
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
• Experience with in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, life sciences preferred)
• Strong exposure to Supply Chain and Manufacturing work streams
• Experience managing large enterprise/global SAP initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification
• SAP certifications considered an asset
• Experience with SAP integrations and custom code remediation
• Understanding of SAP BASIS and system architecture activities
• Experience leading large-scale testing and cutover planning
