Job Description
Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder, no C2C.
Resource will need to come into the office 2-3 times per week onsite in St. Louis, MO.
Client can provide relocation assistance if needed.
These roles will focus exclusively on configuration of specific SAP modules, so the hiring team will not look at how much experience an applicant has in other SAP modules or doing other tasks such as integration, analysis, testing, design, migration, etc. We need them to have a few/several years focused exclusively on SD or PP/QM configuration.
The SAP Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing functional support for SAP Production Planning (PP/QM/TSW) and Safety/Environmental Compliance (EHSM). As a member of the team, this person will work closely with end users in the US and Australia on support issues, enhancement requests and projects. This is a global role within the SAP PP/QM and EHSM modules.
REQUIRED: 5 years’ experience in SAP PP or QM configuration.
Duties- Provide first and second level functional SAP support for US and Australia users.
- Provide training to end users where necessary.
- Coordinate with other functional, development and business teams in issue resolution.
- Communicate with business teams on important system events.
- Gather, define, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Document SAP designs and functional design specifications.
- Design and configure SAP applications to meet the business requirements.
- Identify test cycles and scenarios and conduct unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Work on support, enhancements, and project requests through the lifecycle process in the areas of SAP PP/QM and EHSM environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- At least six years of SAP configuration experience and broad knowledge in all phases of the SAP lifecycle (ECC); S/4 preferred.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle from idea inception through scoping, requirements gathering, analysis, design, construction, testing, QA, user acceptance, deployment, maintenance, support, and change management.
- Ability to work independently with business and development teams.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the mining industry is preferred.
