The Maintenance Support Coordinator will promote the efficient functioning of the maintenance and technical teams by performing day-to-day inventory and labor scheduling tasks and supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. Most tasks will be in a climate-controlled work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts on parts and supply inventory
- Purchase parts and supplies from suppliers via PO or purchase card
- Develop good relationships with key suppliers to support business continuity
- Ensure parts and supply storage areas stay clean and organized
- Collect and preserve documentation related to compliance
- Assist with labor and materials planning for routine tasks and projects
- Assist with work order distribution and management
- Identify and escalate continuous improvement opportunities in the procedures, systems, and practices of the maintenance department.
- Coordinate with other teams within the plant on projects
Qualifications Required:
- 1+ years of experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager
- 2+ years of inventory management, scheduling, or purchasing experience
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain-related field is preferred
Schedule:
The plant is continuously in operation 24/7. The schedule is 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be required at times.
