Strong Growth Trajectory
A leading national energy services provider is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects focused on anaerobic digestion, municipal/industrial wastewater treatment, renewable natural gas (RNG), and combined heat and power (CHP) systems. This role supports a growing portfolio of high-impact projects currently in development and execution phases.
OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple infrastructure projects ranging in size and complexity. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage all phases of project execution—from development to close-out. This position plays a key role in guiding strategic project outcomes, coordinating internal and external partners, and contributing to the expansion of a dynamic infrastructure division.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead infrastructure projects focused on wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion, RNG, and CHP systems.
- Manage 3–4 direct team members across active and developing projects.
- Coordinate closely with internal engineering, design, and business development teams.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
- Maintain and update project schedules while holding team members and contractors accountable to timelines.
- Review and approve daily logs and progress reports.
- Support subcontractor procurement, vendor coordination, and contract compliance.
- Facilitate strong communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Lead change order processes and ensure alignment with scope, cost, and schedule.
- Manage project controls, performance metrics, and reporting tools.
- Participate in company-wide meetings and contribute to organizational scaling efforts.
- Assist in recruiting and mentoring as the team continues to grow.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of infrastructure project management experience, with strong emphasis on wastewater or industrial process systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, schedules, and large project budgets.
- Strong communicator with experience interfacing across departments and with external partners.
- PMP certification preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management software; familiarity with project control systems such as CMiC is a plus.
- Willing and able to travel approximately 25%, primarily within the Central and Eastern U.S.
- Experience working for general contractors or firms specializing in wastewater or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Candidates with traditional power generation or ESCO backgrounds are not a match for this opportunity.
WHY JOIN:
- Be part of a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that support sustainability and innovation.
- Help shape and grow a rapidly expanding infrastructure division with strong internal support and a culture of excellence.
