Environmental Manager – Corporate Reporting

Reports To: VP of Environmental
Position OverviewThe Environmental Manager – Corporate Reporting(up to 30% travel) will provide strategic guidance, technical assistance, and compliance oversight to multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures robust adherence to all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, with a heavy emphasis on Air, Waste, and Water compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader capable of prioritizing competing demands across a diverse operational footprint to maintain the company's position as an industry leader in environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and guide multi-site compliance programs, ensuring strict adherence to Title V (Air), RCRA (Hazardous Waste), and NPDES (Water/Wastewater) regulations.
- Site Support: Serve as the primary corporate point of contact for plant-level environmental staff, providing technical expertise and program implementation support.
- Auditing & Reporting: Coordinate corporate environmental reporting metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and facilitate internal compliance audits.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential environmental risks across facilities and develop standardized, scalable mitigation strategies.
- Agency Interfacing: Assist sites with regulatory agency interactions, permit renewals, and enforcement actions as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience leading environmental compliance programs within a large manufacturing site or across multiple industrial facilities.
- Technical Expertise: Proven, hands‑on experience managing Title V air permits is strictly required. Strong working knowledge of RCRA and NPDES frameworks is essential.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required

A degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related STEM discipline is highly preferred. - Skills: Exceptional prioritization, project management, and multitasking abilities to efficiently support a multi-site network. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate between site teams and executive leadership.
