Forklift Operator
Position Overview:
The forklift operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging and organization of raw materials and finished goods in a chemical warehouse. The individual ensures safety, PPE and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move drums, totes, pallets and hazardous products.
- Maintain ERP/WMS inventory accuracy.
- Conduct forklift inspections and complete checklists.
- Report spills, damage or deviations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of verifiable employment as a forklift operator in a warehouse.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic math and computer skills.
