Lead Processing Formulation Cost Center Lead
SHIFT: 1st 6:00 AM to 2:00 pm
PAY: $29.15 per hour. Compensation may be adjusted upward based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.

Under direction of the Area Manager, the Formulation Cost Center Lead is responsible for assisting on all duties related to the safe, profitable, environmentally sound and efficient operations of assigned Cost Center(s). Duties include working with and training personnel to operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, as well as overseeing all procedures involved in the production area.
The Cost Center Lead ensures all employees follow all procedures, GMPs, Safety, and Quality plans, along with ensuring all employees are productive and competent in their respective roles. Assist with production reports (batch sheets, non-conformities, check sheets, lot alerts, daily reports, etc.). Encourage teamwork within the company.
- Train personnel to operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Oversee all procedures involved in the production area.
- Ensure all employees follow GMPs, safety, and quality plans.
- Assist with production reports such as batch sheets and lot alerts.
- Encourage teamwork within the company.
- 1+ years of continuous prior experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
- Can troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.
- Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and directions.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and in cold and/or hot temperatures.
- Experience with on-the-floor training.
- Basic computer skills.
- Established leadership skills.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Comprehension:
Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions and perform basic math. - Critical Thinking:

- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, and climbing.
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Work across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work where dust and chemicals are present.
- Shift schedules include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays requiring periodic overtime.
