I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is looking for an experienced
Saw Operator
.

• Specializes in various types of saws and iron workers machine operations.
• Complicated set-ups with a high degree of accuracy, setting up machine tool(s), adjusting guides and stops, working tables and other controls to handle the size of stock to be sawed, determine proper feeds, speeds, tooling and operation sequence and select those prescribed in drawings, blueprints, or layouts.
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, making necessary adjustments during operation to achieve requisite dimensions within tolerance.
• Know and follows all safety instructions and guidelines.
• Keeps area and equipment clean and free of debris.
• Frequently uses overhead crane.
• Uses grinder to smooth out burrs.
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
• Attach or mark identification onto products.
• Other job functions may be required.

• Extensive knowledge in automatic saw operation and various measuring devices.
• Ability to read work orders and blueprints.
• Ability to recognize characteristics of metals.

• Perform safety inspections in manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate band saw, hand tools, and simple power tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and hoist.
