We are currently looking for individuals interested in working as drum operators in a rotating night shift schedule.

Competitive salaries and benefits:

• $22.40 per hour (including perfect attendance bonus) to start
• Starting salary of $19.75 per hour
• Bonus of $2.65 per hour for perfect attendance
• Minimum salary of $20.75 per hour upon obtaining certification/qualification

3 and a half day workweek with shift rotation every 4 weeks

Responsibilities of the drum operator include, but are not limited to:

• Management of chemicals and supervision of the drums and the process, maintaining the highest possible quality of the hides.
• Drum processing
• Conducting quality audits of the hides
• Proper handling of chemicals
• Computer equipment management
• Other assigned tasks

This position involves critical safety responsibilities. It is an on-site job.

Qualified candidates for the position of Drum Operator (night shift) must meet the following requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• It is recommended to be well-shaven for personal safety reasons, as the position requires the use of respiratory protection equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds (approx. 25 kg).
• Willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Computer and math skills.
• Ability to distinguish colors (to identify color-coded containers for chemicals).
• Ability to climb and descend stairs.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the chemical sector or in quality control/laboratory is valued, although not mandatory.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
