Complicated set-ups with a high degree of accuracy, setting up machine tool(s), adjustingguides and stops, working tables and other controls to handle the size of stock to besawed, determine proper feeds, speeds, tooling and operation sequence and select thoseprescribed in drawings, blueprints, or layouts.
Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, making necessary adjustments duringoperation to achieve requisite dimensions within tolerance.
Know and follows all safety instructions and guidelines.
Keeps area and equipment clean and free of debris.
Frequently uses overhead crane.
Uses grinder to smooth out burrs.
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
Attach or mark identification onto products.
Other job functions may be required.
