This position is in the St. Joseph Distribution Center

Manufacturing Supervisor — reporting to the Plant Manager, within the Manufacturing Operations business unit. This is an onsite role located in the plant. You will lead production activities to ensure goals are met, staffing levels are maintained, and a safe, clean, and efficient work environment is upheld.

• Train production personnel to perform assignments safely and efficiently
• Maintain employee relations through coaching and consistent application of policies
• Ensure staffing levels are aligned with production requirements
• Administer safety standards, environmental practices, and housekeeping procedures
• Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure reliable operations
• Investigate material variances, report findings, and recommend improvements

• Ability to work shifts and required overtime
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and employee relations
• Experience in manufacturing operations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations
• Supervisory or management experience (minimum 2 years)
• Knowledge of union agreements and disciplinary procedures

Our St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week.
