Job Description

The role involves greeting and preparing patients for provider examinations and treatments. It includes maintaining equipment properly before and after procedures, engaging in patient and family teaching to achieve desired patient outcomes, rooming patients, taking vitals, calling patients with lab results, and performing blood draws.

Responsibilities

+ Greet and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.

+ Maintain medical equipment before and after procedures.

+ Engage in patient and family education to ensure successful patient outcomes.

+ Room patients and take vitals.

+ Communicate lab results to patients.

+ Perform blood draws.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in family medicine and nursing clinical settings.

+ Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC.

+ LPN or RN certification.

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

+ Experience in triage and patient care.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to brand new LPNs.

+ Experience in any clinic or primary care setting.

+ Any specialty experience is acceptable.

+ Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or military equivalent.

+ Paramedic certification is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes multiple specialties with operations from Monday to Friday, offering 8-hour shifts during the day. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.64 - $33.02/hr.
