Registered Nurse - Pain Management

Responsibilities

• Assist with rooming patients.
• Prepare pain clinic patients for doctor’s examination.
• Obtain pertinent patient history.
• Assist physician in procedures.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Schedule follow-up appointments.
• Assist with patient referrals.

Part Time Days

This position functions independently and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
