Night Shift Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) – Missouri Baptist Medical Center
Join Missouri Baptist Medical Center (MoBap) as a Night Shift Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) and bring your strong Medical/Surgical and Telemetry expertise to a flexible, growth‑focused role.
Designed for experienced nurses who thrive at night, this position offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care across multiple inpatient units. Float Pool RNs must be comfortable working in different clinical environments—including occasional mid‑shift transitions—to support patient care needs.
You will also have the opportunity to expand your skills through cross‑training in ICU and the Emergency Department, all while working within a collaborative, tight‑knit night shift team.
Job Highlights- Night shift: 3 x 12‑hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

- 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience (required)
- Ability to thrive in a flexible float environment
- Strong adaptability in variable clinical environments
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted if enrolled in a BSN program
- Initial 1st week will be a 5‑day full‑time training commitment to support your success
- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
- BJC has determined this is a safety‑sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's;
Nursing - RN license
- No experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Less than 2 years of experience
