Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LVN/LPN with telemetry or med/surg experience for a 13-week night shift contract on a telemetry unit, requiring Epic proficiency and heparin drip experience.

• Current LVN/LPN license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Med/surg experience within the last year required; med/surg telemetry experience preferred
• Proficiency in heparin drips, IV starts, and lab draws required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Current BLS certification required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Telemetry unit in an inpatient hospital setting
• Patient population includes elective joint replacements, fractures, trauma, back/neck surgeries, post-op craniotomy, seizures, and strokes
• Telemetry monitoring is performed on this unit
• Limited drip administration; moderate sedation is not performed on this unit
• Equipment used includes Buck's traction and Hoyer lift
• Uses Epic EMR
• Scheduled for 4x12-hour night shifts,
• Every third weekend required
• Floating to other units is required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• RTO is limited to 2 requests per contract
• A charge nurse is present every shift
• Any color or brand of solid-color scrubs are acceptable
