Overview
It's more than a career, it's a calling. This hybrid role is primarily remote with occasional on‑site presence for activities such as go‑lives, typically for candidates located within two hours of the main office.
Work ScheduleBusiness hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM, with potential for earlier or later meetings and occasional weekends for support during go‑lives.

Analyzes, manages and communicates health information through clinical information systems and applications, supporting all service lines within a ministry or region. Utilizes Epic software, operational workflows and policies to train and support business users, and provides problem‑solving and educational support.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist in the design and promotion of EHR and clinical application projects.
- Communicate and promote the use of informatics knowledge to team members.
- Handle more complex problem solving and understand workflows and systems.
- Identify opportunities for system or process enhancements and address workflow gaps to improve efficiencies.
- Present and discuss approaches to safe, patient‑centered care with clinical team members.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to facilitate change management, improving quality and process efficiencies.
- Build collaborative relationships by rounding and attending local meetings as requested.
- Participate in and support new department/clinic/hospital installations.
- Communicate clearly, openly and efficiently to ensure correct use of the EHR and timely resolution of day‑to‑day issues, including support of downtime processes.
- Provide hands‑on EHR and clinical application support in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Assist with promotion and adoption of clinical technologies that advance efficient practice.
- Provide onsite or phone support to operations users, working days, evenings, and nights as needed.
- Travel within organization as needed to provide onsite support.
- Remain alert and perform duties safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Informatics, or a relevant field.
Experience- Three years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years of clinical work.
- One year of experience in informatics or application support.
Registered Nurse (RN) – State of work location or Compact Multi‑State License.
Epic Certification in one or more modules (CLN
01 preferred) within 1 year.
Within two years: e.g., Informatics Nursing Certification (RN‑BC) – ANCC, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) – HIMSS.
Physical Requirements- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision for distances near (20inches or less) and far (20feet or more); ability to identify colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech; ability to hear alarms and machinery.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 25–50lbs.
- Rare climbing.
Required professional licensure varies by state (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) and includes RN license and certification in CPHIMS or RN‑BC within 24 months.
