Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role

Registered Nurse providing patient care using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and coordinating with other departments.

• Responsibilities:
  Evaluate care effectiveness, maintain professional accountability, and uphold standards aligned with mission and values.
• Shift Flexibility:
  Various shifts available, including day and night, with options for 4, 8, or 12 hours. No mandatory weekends or holidays, but requires flexible scheduling and short-notice availability.
• Departments:
  Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, Medical-Surgical, Women's Health.
• Locations:
  Multiple facilities across MO, including hospitals in St. Louis, Festus, Troy, Perryville, Cape Girardeau, and Dexter.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. Must hold an active RN license in the state or via compact licensure.

• Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg RN experience; 2 years for specialty areas (ED, ICU, etc.).
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required; ACLS and PALS for critical care and ED. Additional certifications may be needed post-start.
• Physical demands include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and mobility tasks.
