Clinic Registered Nurse
- Pre Admission Testing

The Clinic RN works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider. The RN Clinic performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Review medical charts for completeness.
• Documents all medications refills telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record.
• Monitors the scheduling of patients answers patient inquiries and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Graduate of a school of nursing
  - Required
• BSN
  - Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 Year
  - Hospital or clinic nursing experience
  - Preferred

Licenses and

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure
  - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure in state depending upon designated work location
  - Required Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days

Travel Requirements:

• Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.
