Quality Auditor Night Shift

National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri is hiring a Night Shift Quality Assurance Auditor for a full‑time 3‑day work week with a 4‑week rotation. The role offers competitive wages and benefits in a stable environment.

• Input attributes and monitor quality
• Communicate with Production regarding quality issues
• Obtain daily samples
• Encourage a safe work environment, including wearing appropriate PPE
• Provide coverage when needed
• Be willing and able to be cross‑trained in all areas of Quality Assurance duties
• Complete all other tasks assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor

This is a safety‑sensitive on‑site position.

• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; typically a high school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery; usually 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or prior Quality Assurance role
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Availability to work all shifts, including flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Conceptual/analytical thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivated, self‑starter, eager, and energetic
• Maintain confidentiality
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of various quality aspects
• Able to lift hides up to 100 lb
• Willingness to work on time and maintain an exemplary attendance record

Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available.
