Location:
United States, Missouri, St. Joseph
Shift: Day
Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM;
Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00
Inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform final positive release of finished goods before shipping
- Auditing
- Verify manufacturing documents for completion and accuracy compared to specifications
- Verify data in SAP for completion and accuracy compared to specifications
- Data collection and report generation encompassing production documentation
- Coordinate internal ISO and GFSI audits
- Maintain GFSI (SQF) and ISO programs
- Manage retained samples from production lines
- Participate in customer and regulatory audits as required
- Maintain a document control database for procedures and other documents
- Revise and modify procedures as needed
- Develop and manage required reports for meetings and projects
- Participate in Daily Integration Meetings
- Safely perform work, observing all safety rules to assure adequate protection for all employees
- Report quickly and accurately to the proper personnel when factors affecting quality, safety, or output appear to be out of control
- Abide by the plant break policies as prescribed by department SOPs or protocols
- Perform other job duties as directed by supervisor
- 2 years of related work experience in quality assurance is preferred
- 2+ years of formal education is preferred
- A bachelor's or associate's level college degree is preferred
- Experience with manufacturing and process lines
- Experience with forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Ability to complete specific assignments under considerable time pressure
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to find errors in documentation
- Ability to data mine and accurately produce spreadsheets, charts, and graphs
- Works equally well individually or in a team situation
- Follows and gives high regard to safety rules and housekeeping procedures
- Very knowledgeable in computer software such as Microsoft Office products, Office 365, and Google Docs
- SAP knowledge is preferred
