Quality Auditor

Location:

United States, Missouri, St. Joseph

Shift: Day
Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM;
Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00

Inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.

• Perform final positive release of finished goods before shipping
• Auditing
• Verify manufacturing documents for completion and accuracy compared to specifications
• Verify data in SAP for completion and accuracy compared to specifications
• Data collection and report generation encompassing production documentation
• Coordinate internal ISO and GFSI audits
• Maintain GFSI (SQF) and ISO programs
• Manage retained samples from production lines
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits as required
• Maintain a document control database for procedures and other documents
• Revise and modify procedures as needed
• Develop and manage required reports for meetings and projects
• Participate in Daily Integration Meetings
• Safely perform work, observing all safety rules to assure adequate protection for all employees
• Report quickly and accurately to the proper personnel when factors affecting quality, safety, or output appear to be out of control
• Abide by the plant break policies as prescribed by department SOPs or protocols
• Perform other job duties as directed by supervisor

• 2 years of related work experience in quality assurance is preferred
• 2+ years of formal education is preferred
• A bachelor's or associate's level college degree is preferred
• Experience with manufacturing and process lines
• Experience with forklifts and other industrial equipment
• Ability to complete specific assignments under considerable time pressure
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to find errors in documentation
• Ability to data mine and accurately produce spreadsheets, charts, and graphs
• Works equally well individually or in a team situation
• Follows and gives high regard to safety rules and housekeeping procedures
• Very knowledgeable in computer software such as Microsoft Office products, Office 365, and Google Docs
• SAP knowledge is preferred
• Pass pre‑employment screening
