Principal Scientist – Bioanalytical (LC‑MS/MS)

We are partnering with a leading global Contract Research Organisation (CRO) to hire a Principal Scientist to join their Bioanalytical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LC‑MS/MS scientist looking to take ownership of regulated bioanalytical studies while working closely with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
The RoleAs Principal Scientist, you will act as the scientific lead for regulated nonclinical bioanalytical studies, overseeing LC‑MS/MS method validation and sample analysis from study initiation through to final reporting.
Working within a collaborative scientific team, you will combine hands‑on technical expertise with project leadership, client interaction and mentorship of junior scientists.
Key Responsibilities- Lead LC‑MS/MS method validation and sample analysis for regulated nonclinical studies.
- Act as Principal Investigator and scientific lead on assigned projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Prepare, review and deliver high‑quality scientific reports.
- Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with GLP and regulatory requirements.
- Review study documentation, laboratory records and analytical data.
- Investigate deviations and contribute to corrective actions where required.
- Support instrument calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and develop junior scientists while driving continuous process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Immunology or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a bioanalytical CRO environment.
- Extensive experience using LC‑MS/MS instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of GLP and regulated bioanalytical studies.
- Experience leading method validation and sample analysis projects.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline.
- Experience with SCIEX or Shimadzu instrumentation.
- Experience using Watson software.
