Job Overview

Field‑based Stryker position:
Trauma Sales Representative. The role involves selling Stryker Trauma products and supporting surgeons and healthcare professionals in operating and emergency settings. On‑call availability is required nights, weekends, and holidays to assist trauma cases when they arise.

• Act as resident trauma expert and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Stryker Trauma products and competitor offerings.
• Provide product demonstrations, advice, and training to surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operating/emergency room consultations.
• Manage and maintain inventory of products, ready to assist customers whenever needed.
• Identify and build relationships with surgeons and hospitals within assigned territory.
• Attend sales meetings, professional association meetings, and other events outside regular business hours as required.
• Adhere to compliance, privacy, and confidentiality standards (Adva Med, federal, state, and local laws).

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination).
• 1+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of marketing strategy, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
• Comfortable working in emergency/operating room environments.
• Willingness to work on‑call and attend meetings outside regular business hours.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and privacy compliance.

This role is 100% commission with eligibility for bonuses and benefits. Travel is approximately 30%.

• Field‑based – majority to 100% time at customer facilities within a defined territory.
• Remote – majority to 100% time from an alternate workplace, subject to travel expectations.
• Hybrid – split between alternate workplace and Stryker facilities, with on‑site expectations defined by manager.
• Onsite – fully at a Stryker facility.
