The company is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to drive new and current business for Forcepoint solutions within a specific geographical region (Remote, Michigan/Ohio).
Responsibilities- Develop and execute new account development through business‑to‑business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services.
- Partner with the Regional Vice President to create and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans aligned with company goals and quota objectives.
- Engage cross‑functional sales resources (SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives) on the development and implementation of customer account plans.
- Use the CRM system to develop, manage, and close forecasted opportunities, ensuring accurate pipeline and forecasting.
- Manage and drive revenue through multiple go‑to‑market strategies and complex sales.
- Execute complex sales transactions and manage the entire sales process and activities.
- Oversee 150–300 prospect accounts and perform account tiering and time‑management.
- Meet or exceed sales quota and negotiate with senior management across all levels.
- University degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of sales experience or equivalent work experience in B2B technology or cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in Cyber Security, specifically Cloud Security and Network Security, and managing, growing, and owning accounts.
- Experience with accounts of fewer than 2,000 employees.
- Consistent achievement against sales quota and proven track record.
- Comfortable meeting and presenting to C‑level / executive level contacts within customer accounts.
- Experience working directly with channel partners and developing business independently.
- Ability to partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers and liaise with external partners.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
- Structured, process‑oriented work style with strong time‑management skills.
- Experience across multiple vertical markets.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
