Business Development Manager

Jackson Physician Search is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our Chesterfield team. In this role, you’ll own a defined multi-state territory in the Midwest region, expanding existing client partnerships while developing new business opportunities with hospitals and health systems. You’ll manage the full sales cycle and serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare leaders seeking physician and advanced practice provider recruitment solutions.

This is an opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, building long-term client partnerships, and delivering solutions that help healthcare organizations meet their physician staffing needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new business through strategic prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research
• Own and grow a defined territory by building lasting relationships with hospital and healthcare executives
• Conduct in-person and virtual presentations that demonstrate the value of partnering with JPS
• Manage the full sales cycle, including identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing new business
• Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure an exceptional client experience
• Partner with clients to understand hiring challenges and provide consultative workforce solutions
• Consistently achieve monthly and annual performance goals
• Represent JPS at industry conferences and trade shows
• Travel 30-50% annually throughout assigned territory

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of outside B2B solution sales experience, or 3+ years of healthcare staffing sales experience
• Demonstrated success prospecting, generating new business, and closing complex sales
• Confidence presenting to and building relationships with C-suite executives
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred
• Stable employment history with verifiable professional references
