Sales Specialist

• Promote and sell DENSO products and services within assigned accounts and geographic/product areas to meet sales targets
• Serve as primary point of contact for BMW and Volvo accounts
• Pursue leads, visit customers, assess needs, recommend products and services, negotiate pricing and delivery, and conclude sales orders
• Build and maintain customer, plant, affiliate, and internal stakeholder relationships
• Coordinate pre-production activities, orders, quotes, pricing, product schedules, tooling, and part readiness
• Coordinate production parts approval process (PPAP) schedules and launch preparedness
• Address customer requirements, capacity issues, delivery targets, design changes, and quality issues
• Follow up on accounts receivable issues and ensure related paperwork is accurate and complete
• Gather customer, competitor, business, and market information and relay insights to management
• Implement customer/product strategies and assist with sales plans and business opportunity identification
• Support product phaseout activities and help prevent obsolescence
• Assist with cost analysis, value-added opportunities, profitability tracking, and cost-saving efforts
• Negotiate pricing, cost reductions, and parts-release timing internally and externally
• Assist with RFQ preparation, review, follow-up, and adherence to internal processes
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
• Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• 0-4 years of experience in a sales or business development role
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of the internet and Explorer applications
• Written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Customer service skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Analytical skills with ability to gather and analyze data
• Negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Fluency in English mandatory
• German or Swedish proficiency advantageous
• Passion for the automotive industry
