Job Overview

Join Van-Am Tool & Engineering as a Full-Time Welder in Saint Joseph, MO. This onsite position offers a competitive pay range of $18 to $27 per hour, based on skill level and experience.

All shifts: hand welding and robotic welding. Differentials are paid for nights and weekend shifts.

• Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (4 days)
• Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Friday-Saturday (3 days, 11% differential paid)

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Experienced welder with strong technical skill and precision.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
• Proficient with MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Capable of performing regular equipment maintenance and inspection.
• Detail oriented and maintains a clean, organized workspace.
