This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is an Indefinite with Right to Convert to Permanent GS-2185-09 AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2300000 is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTSSelected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - MSgt (E-7) Minimum Military Grade - TSgt (E-6)
GENERAL EXPERIENCEMust possess experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and off-loading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCEMust possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS 08 grade level that provided knowledge of types, capacities and configuration of transport aircraft; weight and balance factors; cargo handling and restraint techniques; and emergency equipment and in-flight emergency procedures. The specialized experience must demonstrate your ability to prepare loading plans; determine airworthiness of the aircraft and aircraft cargo;
ability to operate cargo loading equipment; experience in proper cargo and personnel airdrop procedures; and ability to train personnel in proper loading and off-loading procedures.
Must possess certification as an Aircraft Loadmaster Instructor.
