School Bus Driver

Role Overview:

We are seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering a positive environment.

• Operate school buses and commercial vehicles safely, following traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport students to various locations, including schools and events
• Enforce behavior management policies and maintain order on the bus
• Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchers
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needs
• Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents
• Follow all transportation regulations and safety standards

• Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, including multilingual abilities beneficial
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance for inspections and minor troubleshooting
• Experience working with children or in childcare enhances understanding of student needs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
• Ability to document transportation activities effectively
