The Doe Run Company is seeking a Mail/Parts Driver To ensure timely pick-up and delivery of mail, parts, and package to DRC sites within the Viburnum trend, primarily SEMO. This position is located at West Fork Surface in Bunker, MO.
Education & Experience:- High school Diploma
Valid Class F driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Excellent driving record
- Ability to navigate on local state highways
- Pick up from vendors and trend facilities and deliver to all SEMO facilities within the trend.
- Pick up and delivery of U.S. Mail from Post Office to the Central Office. Accurate mail sorting and delivery to sites while transporting internal company mail for site to site delivery.
- Responsible for inspection and minor maintenance on delivery truck (Pre-shift minor repairs, cleaning and maintaining truck in a responsible manner.
- Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasionally required to working in outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather). Rarely required to work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather), vibration or near moving mechanical parts. Moderate noise exposure.
- Regularly required to sit, hear, grasp, walk, and drive. Frequently required to feel the attributes of objects, push, reach with hands/arms, climb or balance and make repetitive movements. Occasionally required to talk, stand, stoop and kneel. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less. Ability to identify and distinguish colors. Requires concentrated attention.
- Regularly required to lift up to 15 pounds. Frequently required to lift between 16 and 50 pounds;
Rarely required to lift 51 to 75 pounds.
