Lead Warehouse Operator

Pay: $28.15 per hour.

Hours:

1st Shift Monday–Friday, some Saturdays may be required. O.T. as needed.

In this role you’ll be a key member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed.

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink‑wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
• Able to multi‑task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast‑paced environment
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Successful forklift certification required

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

• 1+ year of warehousing work experience
• Forklift experience

• Able to lift or carry up to 60 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Work in temperature zones that include cold or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust or chemicals are present
